Is there a particular type/thickness of copper wire that would allow me to make a spiral-sphere that is flexible enough to put a tumbled crystal in it to be worn as a pendant? Does anyone have any good variations/instructions of this design?

So while doing this and moving around come rolls of copper and leftover tile, I had the idea of fountains or water features using wire, or wire mimicing water flows. Thus, WireFall popped into my mind and I am close to finishing my first piece. Please leave some thoughts about it. I have sketches of a few more and am moving to a clearer epoxy so far.
